Hey guys! What do you all feel about using
M.C. | January 24, 2009Hey guys! What do you all feel about using myspace (or face book, etc, etc, etc) as a marketing tool for your clothing line??
I’ve always told people that I wouldn’t indulge in any chat site unless I could see a way to make it work for my brand. Myspace has the potential to offer access to celebrities. The drawback is that you never really know whether or not said celebrity actually has a myspace page. I would assume that PR people often set up and manage those (myspace, facebook, etc, etc) profiles on behalf of their clients. Obsessed fanatics have also been known to set up celebrity profiles.
My initial line of thinking is that I could perhaps send said celebrity a free article of clothing. But then again, you never really know who you’re communicating with; and therein lies the dilemma.
Your thoughts please.
